There’s something magical about the way a community comes together when it matters. And when it comes to raising money for cancer charities, it really does matter.

Cancer touches all of us in some way. We all have someone we care about who has been affected. That’s why raising money for cancer research is a cause that feels so personal. Because it is.

10 year target

In our 10th year of running our fundraising Yogathons, we set ourselves an ambitious 10 year target – to raise £60,000 for Cancer charities like The Christie.

WE HAVE SMASHED IT. With a grand total in excess of £9000 it has been our best year yet, taking us to…

£61,000 for a good cause! And it’s all thanks to you.

It’s not about the prizes… it’s about the people

Our amazing raffle has sparked much conversation… and maybe a little playful competition! Local businesses have rallied round to provide some incredible prizes – and we’re so grateful for their support, and their community spirit. But best of all, the raffle prizes have captured the interest of all our yogis, added a real fun element to Yogathon as well as providing people with a tangible way to show support – even if they couldn’t join us on the day!

When loose change creates change

Thank you for digging deep and purchasing tickets. Each ticket creates cash for cancer charities. That cash in turn creates funds for supporting patients, their loved ones, and fuelling essential research. Each ticket supports the fight against this disease.

Clare will be donating the money from her ‘Maggie’s Manchester’ classes based at the Christie Hospital. As a centre to support those with cancer, it is a testament to how vital fundraising is, and the very real support network it creates for patients and their loved ones alike. Our cheque presentation will take place at the Christie on 5th June 2025.
