Our retreats are the highlight of our Yoga on the Edge calendar. So many of those who join us for a retreat come back a second, third and sometimes fourth time! It’s an experience like no other, and we pride ourselves on curating the best teachers, the most beautiful locations, and the most delicious food…  

This year is no exception, as we’re joined by Niki Charnock for two of our luxe retreats. As an experienced naturopathic nutritionist, Niki will be our chef, providing the very best cuisine to complement your stay and transform your approach to healthy eating.

Portugal Retreat – March and October 2025 

Our Wild View retreat venue is nestled into the Corgas Bravas hillside, with a sustainable and ethical ethos. Niki will be preparing vibrant and nutrient-dense foods, which celebrate seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients… delicious dishes with added health benefits that keep working long after the last bite!

Start each day of your retreat with a hormone-balancing, energy-boosting breakfast to get you ready for a day of yoga, exploring or relaxing – whatever is on your ideal agenda! In the evening, sample delicious dishes that will satisfy your taste buds, as well as nourish you from the inside out. Niki’s nutrition meal plan works to stabilise your hormone balance and energy levels from morning to night – supporting energetic days and restful nights. 

Daily nutritional talks: 

One major advantage to having a Nutritionist Chef on site is the offered daily nutrition talks. (These can be in informal groups, or arranged as a 1-2-1 if preferred). 

These talks allow you to explore specific health topics to give you a better understanding of how you can use certain foods to tackle issues, such as brain fog, bloating, bowel issues, poor sleep, water retention and so much more. 

Niki’s vast experience allows her to break down complex health concepts into bite-sized pieces. She is particularly passionate about biohacking, living longer without pain, and holistic health from the inside out. Her proactive approach to ageing and living joyfully, will have you living your best life at every stage.

Background

Niki’s career started in sports physiotherapy working with professional athletes. Spending time with high-performing sports people, it became apparent that what they ate, how they rested, and what they did outside of their sport was as every bit as important as their training. 

So she went on to train as a Naturopathic Nutritionist, working with a broad range of clients. Her company Charnock Farm Organic Wellness specialises in superfoods, nootropics, supplements, rejuvenating cleanses, beautiful broths and healthy cakes. 

As a mum, Niki is passionate about nutrition at every life stage. At its core, her philosophy is about preventing illness and promoting longevity through lifestyle, nutrition, and targeted supplementation. As one of her children has epilepsy, Niki’s extensive research extends to neurological pathways, brain health, and comprehensive wellness strategies to help you support your whole family’s well being. 

Through her deep knowledge of supplements, gut health, liver cleanses, nutritional science, and holistic health, Niki will give you the tools to understand your body’s root health challenges and make sustainable, positive changes for long-term well-being.
